Recently bought an LED light and Macro Converter from Gary (Cabstar), they arrived today. Couldn't resist having a play this evening using my son's die cast model cars.
Think i may buy a second light at some point to better light the subject but its all good fun.

Used the K5 with Chinon 50mm 1.4, YN160s LED light and Panagor Macro Converter.

Russ, Maybe experiment with a simple reflector first? And/or place the model on a mirror?

Right, will do. I forgot about my reflector. Its been sat dorment in the cupboard for a year. And will borrow the mirror from the bathroom as well. Try a few things out.
Many thanks.

Thanks Gareth. The borders and text/graphics are all a bit cheesy and not in keeping with a photography forum i know but i made them up for my son to use as desktop images on his PC. He was over the moon, actually so over the moon we had to print them too. Which was not good with all that black.

I bought these cars in the car boot sale at various times. Bargain prices too. And they are superb quality models. Sam is only 10 but these stay on his display shelf and he won't let anyone touch them. It was only on the promise of the desktop images that i was allowed to use them.
