JESSOPS to Close

I agree with most of the posts about the lack of service at Jessops. Last week I went to Tottenham Court Rd and popped into Jacobs for a remote control for my K20. The assistant had a look in the Pentax/Samsung drawer but they didn't have any so I went over to the Jessops World Camera Centre(?), asked the assistant for a remote control, what did he do? He picked up the christmas brochure, didn't open it but said "We only sell Canon and Nikon."
I'm sticking to the smaller retailers from now on with staff who know what they are talking about.

It seems a crying shame that such a big retailer ends up over the years employing staff that haven't a glue as to what there selling. Many years ago when you walked into Jessops at Peterborough for a quick look, you were lucky to get out of the place within the hour. as everyone in the place would be talking camera's
