Pics are only half the story, anyone who has seen F1 live will tell you it's all about the soundtrack! Mostly Tamron 70-200 2.8, one or two with Sigma 18-50 2.8.

Nice set, I like the press call with the guy using a blackberry, classic ))

The shot of Jensen looks like a press shot, very well done...

Cracking set, you were lucky with the weather (well actually I suppose it's like that 99% of the time) and used the conditions very well indeed. I admire the skill involved wher you only get one chance to get it right.

I agree with Dr O........except for the supposition that Manchester is rainy 99% of the time!
This space deliberately left blank.

I second this. It used to rain when I was cycling to work along Upper Chorlton Road, ONLY 98% of the time. The other 2% it was sleet. I got at least one puncture a week from the broken glass, in the gutter, I couldn't see for the rain water. I took to carrying 2 spare inner tubes and when I found kevlar lined tyres, oh joy!
Lurking is shirking.!

Thanks everyone - rushed the pp on these and may revisit at some point, just tried to show a variety of images from the event. I have loads more but won't get a chance to process any this week. Make all the rain jokes you like, for the grey skies and rain were a real boon - they kept the contrast (and pace of the car!) under control.

@Pentaxophile - the idea for shot 3 came when taking shot 2 so I stood my ground and hoped Jensen would walk to the car rather than it be moved to him. He did (absolutely surrounded by press/tv) but luckily none of them had thought of this angle or stood in the way (which they did for much of the event :roll
