Hi tijean,
have a look at my gallery at http://www.photoboxgallery.com/Prieni
or at http://home.fotocommunity.de/prieni/ (it's in German and not all of the photos were taken with the *istD. For the ones that are you can find it in the annotation to the pictures).
You also can have a look at MattMatic's pbase gallery, though I don't know for sure which ones were taken with the *istD (however, the file names are a bit of a giveaway, if they start IMGP I would guess they are *istD pictures):

I'm sure others here have links to other galleries...
Cheers,

Also there are sample galleries of most other dslr's so you can make some comparisons.
Hope this is of some use.

My apologies if this is has been posted efore, but I've looked and couldn't seem to find it.
I've been a pretty diehard Pentax fan since I picked up my first camera (K1000) 8 years ago. (I am not including the plastic point and shoot I carried around through elementary and middle school). I've developed quite the collection of cameras and lenses and now that I'm thinking about buying a digital SLR my natural course is towards the ist D.
My only problem is that while I am constantly running into galleries full of beautiful photos taken with Nikon and Canon's DSLRs, I can't seem to find any taken with the ist D. I tell myself that this is just because there are so many more Nikons and Canon's out there, but it would be so reassuring to be able to see some pictures taken with the ist D and go "wow."
Sooo... do any of the ist D owners on the board (who have managed to get through this post without nodding off) have online photo galleries that I could take a look at? It would just make dropping $1750 (with 16-45mm lense, here in the states) much easier on someone for whom $1750 a bit over a month's pay.
Thanks.
