Hi,

Is it my imagination, or has this site been really slow again recently?

I had the same experience during the last couple of days (I think Friday was really slow). But today seems to be better.

Seems to vary - doesn't seem too bad to me today and generally seems a bit better than it was maybe a month or two ago (when I found it very slow)...

If you frequest EPZ you will have seen there are currently speed issues as a server upgrade goes on. It may have affected us here as well, although not as badly as over there.

It does seem to be better this evening.

It was very slow yesterday, but seems OK now.

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Overnight , maybe around 2am or 3am I kept getting the following error.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/pentax/pentaxuser.co.uk/libs/php/puconfig.php on line 50
Too many connections

I've had several of those at times - have used the report problem function in the past.

For me I get them during daylight hours

I don't know if it's of any help to this forums developers, but a few weeks ago I was getting reports of database errors ( preventing them from accessing ) and slowness by various forum members over at Smeggy's. After a while the server auto emailed me saying that allocated disk space was running low that this could could database corruption.

I do keep an eye on these things and I knew I was only using about 80% of the disk space. But then it struck me that some headroom is probably required for temp files and the like. So I upgraded the disk space allocation on the server and everything has been fine since.

The same message showed up on my computer, too.

There seems to be a problem. I'm trying to put a message after a "quote", and it shows my message in the quote.
