I have to say I had you particularly in mind Derek...definitely worth a shot i'd say and the lens looks potentially very promising.

That certainly rules me out then...!! Love Macro photography. Now really appreciate it even more, since trying and failing on many many occasions....

I see the price of the Irix 150mm macro is going to be a very reasonable €595
If it's as sharp and good as I expect it will be, that's a cracking price.
(To me anyway)
Release date is in December

I'd think that the main issue for you will be the lack of an aperture ring

I don't do the social media they mention so no good to me otherwise i'd have entered as well.
