They might be cheapo but they do the job a treat. I use one regularly

Post hijack for the benefit of other forum members.
I have an LG G3 android phone which has an IR blaster to use as a TV remote.
I used this IR remote from eBay to "teach" my phone the IR setting for my Pentax K-50 so I can now use my phone as a trigger for the camera. Best part is that it also works on my Pentax WG-3.
A few phones have IR blasters so well worth considering. These eBay remotes are good and small but if you forget to take the battery out when not in use, they seem to run out if you leave them for a few months.
