Hi, I have just upgraded to windows seven, so I am still trying to get used to it.

Anyway! I am going to download both the trial's and write notes about them and how I got on.

Is there a section in this forum that deals with computers please? Ta very much
I don't think there is a specific area for computers but there are a bunch of helpful people here who might know or be able to point out what you want to know. Just ask what you need and I'm sure you will get help.

Probably the Troubleshooter or General Chat areas might be best but I'm sure the mods will point to the best place.
Lurking is shirking.!

i think you will find you can do everything you will want to in Elements and if you have the time ,for a relatively small cost, join a part time photography course at your local college as they will use elements and you will soon get to grips with it as you use it. that is the route i took. i tried Lightroom and found it far from intuitive compared to elements or photoshop also i prefer to organise my photo's my self so the catalogue features have no use for me, different perhaps if you have 1000's to sort.

Anything here to help?
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements.html

Then there are many Youtube videos and other sites showing how to do things with it.

You can get help on specific issues right here on the forum too, Louise. You don't need to know how everything works in Photoshop to be able to use it effectively; e.g. you might just tweak the levels a bit and crop, and perhaps a bit of sharpening.
