Hi,

I've been lurking for a while so I thought I'd better do a quick post to introduce myself.
I'm based in Lancashire and I'd probably describe myself as a general photographer rather than an enthusiast. I mainly photograph landscapes and my two young sons.
Having only had compact film and digital cameras in the past, I bought the K10D last year and I'm very pleased with it.
You lot seem a friendly and helpful bunch with great advice. From what I've seen, this and the AP forum appear to be the best out there.

Best wishes,

Keith.

Welcome Rivvy, does this mean you are from somewhere near Rivington or am I making the wrong guess with your username?

Hope you enjoy the site and the forum and we'll look forward to you joining in the fray!
Best regards, John

Hi Rivvy. Yes it is a friendly place and everyone is willing to help. I've learnt lots since coming on here.

( Rivington, that's a nice part of the world. A friend of mine used to have a caravan up there. )
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Hi Rivvy,

You'll enjoy it here.

I've only been here a short time but there's loads of info and always someone here to help, the site's full of very knowledgable folk.
Better than some other sites, where you can get nothing but smart-a****d comments.

Cheers

Welcome Rivvy
Hmmmm Rivvy Barn, used to go there quite a lot on the bike. It was a nice short ride from Rochdale (where I'm from originally), get a brew and wander around the bike park, memories..............
