Hello,
I have this problem with my K20D and the EX150 Interfit flash lights...
Because I want to ba able to take several shots one after another, the solution you give here will not be efficient for me.
Interfit recommands to use the INT411 infrared transmitter. Why not the INT412 radio transmitter ? Is anyone using Interfit EX150 flash lights with INT412 raio Tx ? Can you tell me if it works or if it has the same issue than with the synch cable ?!
Thanks a lot,
Matdust

I think you can't do that on this model IMHO you need a better strobe or content lights
when the strobe fire's it takes 1.5 of a second to recharge the strode regardless of the output I have wondered on this issue before.
I think you need a strobe like this link

Hello James,
Thanks for your answer. But I have just purchased the flash lights, and do not want to change right now...
The problem I have is known apperently : when I link my K20D to the flash light, the flash triggers once, and then no more. I have to "reset" the flash light by presing the Test button. It seems that this issue comes from the fact that the Pentax camera "are sensitive to sync polarity. The sync cable that comes with the interfit lights is center positive".
One way to solve the issue is to buy (from Interfit of course...) an infra red trigge. It seems to be working fine, since the Sync connector is not use in this case.
But I would prefer to use a radio trigger. My question is: does it work, because the radio trigger on the camera has to be plugged in the Sync connector.... so, will it work or have the same problem than with the cable ?!
If anyone is using this settup, or has had a problem with that, I would be pleased to know !
Thanks
Matdust

A radio trigger will work perfectly well, the camera isn't connected to the flash physically and the cheap Chinese ones from ebay work very well. Much better than having cables trailing all over the place too. Any make of infra red trigger will work too, it doesn't have to be Interfit.

sorry the way i read it is you wanted continuous strobe flash yes the radio or inferred is the best way to go and the interfit is a good strobe I have three plus two heavy duty ones and they work well.

What sort of studio set-up have you got and what are you planning to shoot

I was trying the setup of K20d cabled to the main light, the second light on sensor and got the same problem as everyone seems to hit - one flash then nothing.
OK - heres the solution to avoid any extra expense for radio links etc.
After you take the shot, if you press the "Test" button on the main light it fires the test and resets itself. You can then take another shot and the flash will fire.
The good news here is that you can slightly push the "Test" button - so the flash does not actually discharge - and this still results in a reset.
Unfortunately, this still only allows a single-flash each time, but I dont think that there is too much hassle in touching the "Test" button after each shot unless you intend rapid shots - in which case I think that some more expensive kit would be in order??
Hope it helps!!
