Interesting, David Hockney did something similar in the early 80s using overlapping shots taken with a Pentax though.

I like them and I've no doubt they require a lot of planning and skill to produce, but the large area of visible rebates is distracting.

I was just about to say 'why would you want to do anything like that' (which I know is a stupid question for anything labelled as "art") but scrolling down the images there are some that have charm, for me they conjure up memories of looking through a kaleidoscope as a kid.
