Far too unbalanced. It needs a massive crop leaving just the bottom right hand corner with the bridge supports central in the frame.

I prefer the B+W Mate.

Colour. The colour is all in the same tonal range and gives a restful feel to a dynamic image. It just works for me, whereas the b/w is too grey, and flat.

Mono but with a crop to the right for me Barrie.

I would look to crop out the building in the bottom right, but it is your photo not mine so I will leave that decision up to you

Colour and no crop for me. The monochrome seems a bit flat.

Thanks for your replies.
Actually it's not much of a crop, it was composed that way. My problem is with the colour it was a really grey day and that blue cast does not represent the conditions at all.

Maybe the blue cast doesn't represent conditions, but imho it works for this photo. I like it a lot.

+1 for the blue cast!

The colour version for me. A crop of some variation may benefit and might be worth a play.

Did you get into/out of Stockton without a passport Barrie?

The composition works for me, and I think I would be inclined to duotone the whole image with the bluecast of the colour version
