Indoor flower

My wife asked if I wanted to take photos of some cut flowers while they were still in reasonable condition. I didn't really fancy it, but who am I to say no? The only one I thought had potential was this dahlia, so tried to get something a bit different out of it. A mixture of K-1 + Sigma 70mm and K-3 + Tamron 90mm. All natural lighting. Do let me know if I succeeded!

Absolutely, but I think you knew that the natural light has been used to good effect, with a lovely tonal range and nice subtlety on the closer shots - super little selection

Loving the softness of these

Lovely set John, they all have something special, but 3 & 6 stand out for me, they somehow seem more 'alive' to my eyes.

Nice set of photos. I am drawn to number 5 with the softness due to the shallow DOF. I enjoyed them all.

Thanks, John - I suppose few people post photos they're not happy with and yes, I'm more than a bit chuffed with how they turned out.

Thanks, Peter, that's just what I was hoping would attract people.

Serge, Peter, thanks for your comments. No.5 is my favourite of these, too, for the same reason.
