That's like trying to get 6 glass marbles in a precise line - well done for such perfection!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you for all the comments, It wasn't as difficult as it may seem,

The BG is a softbox on a studio head, with a piece of black card directly in front, all i did was make sure the softbox was in line with the edge of the worktop, the card was then straight and level with the softbox and a rule was used to get the glass stems in line, the camera on a tripod was then centered on the stems.

If you look closely at the third glass base from the front, the base isn't as good a shape as the rest !!

All that was needed in post was a slight tweak of the midrange levels towards black to strengthen the black lines on the edges of the glasses.
