Image size?

I am very new to the digital world. I have been using my manual Pentax K-1000 and ME-Super for 20 years now and have taken many classes in the course of that time, so I am not new to photography. I was pretty comfortable using those cameras. I do know the very basics of Photoshop and use them all the time as far as resizing, croping, adjusting RGB balance and so forth. I am much less experienced with working with Web images or using the layers and other assorted things photoshop can do. My problems mostly come from learning digital and the istD in general which I have only had for a few weeks now. I am slowly learning how to use this camera (which is much different than using a manual film camera) and I appreciate all the help people have given me with learning this new endeavor.

I'm sorry, Ava, I rather got the impression you had leapt into photography for the first time with the *ist D.

I must say that I had a rather similar experience when I got my Z1-P. It had so many more functions and facilities than my other cameras that at first it was quite intimidating. I still don't know how they all work, and I've had it for about eight years!
