IFA 2013 - Pentax/Ricoh

There is no Photokina this year, but there is the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA).
IFA is one of the world's largest consumer electronics trade fairs.
The next IFA will be held in Berlin from 6 September to 11 September in 2013.

Ricoh has a press conference scheduled for September 5:

But it's far from pure, especially in cities. You've obviously never been to Los Angeles, or Peking, or even London.

I hope the Pentax one is easier to view. The Philips one is tiny on my screen, and no way to make it bigger it seems

I've nothing against Air Purifiers or Ionizers it's just
the daft things that Philips come up with. Who needs to
control an air purifier with a mobile phone

They have a habit of picking up an electric motor from one
of their products and then trying to think of something else
they can build around the motor

They even brought out their own VCR that wasn't compatible with
anything else

I'm ashamed to say I bought one of their Digital Audio Cassette
Recorders and only ever managed to buy two cassettes to fit
it and they didn't work properly. Sadly I've still got it

I think having your household appliances controllable via an app on your mobile phone is a BRILLIANT idea.

(So long as there's an alternative control as well!)

Never mind all that where is this press conference? All I'm getting is crappy music and it should have started by now. I have the right day this time.

Additionally, the Ricoh booth seems to be pretty small and targeted towards this product.
Maybe not even the existing and new Pentax products are shown.

They seem to have cooperated with Microsoft ("revolution in photography").
Maybe the next Pentax K-? will run Windows 8.

You're neglecting to mention that it was the first domestic VCR, so there wouldn't have been anything else to be compatible with.

Have Ricoh taken over Tandy Didn't they do 360deg cameras in the 80's

Just been to my local Phillips dealer to see if they have a Wi-Fi Smartphone operated Electric Can Opener so that when I'm on my way home from the pie shop with a Hot Pie I can have a freshly opened tin of beans ready to bung into the microwave when I get home..... he said they won't be available until next year so I just bought the standard Philips Electric Can Opener for now..... although I'm sure I could have the can opened whilst I'm untangling the cord and plugging it in
