Ah Prieni, how we've missed your pictures... who could forget those wonderful icy shots from the Last German winter?
Most unusual shapes and colours in these.

Definitely your style The last one is an easy winner for me, it's almost like a war between the bottom left and top right corners. Also the deeper background works better than number 1, IMO.

Beautiful shots, number three for me takes it also. When you say you have not cleaned #2 up, have you also seen the red triangle thing toward top center of number one?

Terrific pictures Ralf. They would make a great set of prints to hang on the wall.

Prieni, have you tried using these wonderful shots in Photoshop as textures for portraits?
I think I may have a go shooting some ice crystals myself, and pop a blue gel on a strobe for a nude study....
sort of an Ice Queen concept...

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

The last for me as well Ralf. The round bright shape (just above the centre) looks like a small Christmas bauble hanging on an ice tree. A great focal point.

Had a session at the garage back door recently, just before the 'heat wave' took them away.
All with K-5 and Sigma 105 mm EX DG Macro and hand held AF540FGZ for lighting.
