I shot Bambi today ...

... in my West London suburban garden. We have seen several recently, including what looked to be an adult and two juveniles but by the time I open the cabinet - they have disappeared.

Fortunately, it was with a Pentax and nothing else.

I had the DA*50-135 on the camera but by the time I had been back for the DA*300, it had moved on.


As you can see, it is well cropped and JPG compressed. I was only 10m away and it was taken through a dirty double glazed window.

I ate Bambi last night very tasty too .

Great shot. Not sure I'd want deer in my garden though, destructive beasties, deer. Mind you with my two hounds no deer in it's right mind would even try and get into my garden.
