Even if you could afford to buy the Lens you would still have to employ someone to help you carry it! What astonished me is that it is only 200-500 f2.8 which on the surface does`nt seem all that extreme. couple of decent primes and a couple of bodies would do the same job and you`d still have £20,000 change!

It reminds me of the £200 cocktail on the bar menu at Annabelle's*. When asked why it was there, the owner replied that there was always some idiot who would buy one.
