I dont do weddings but....

I've done weddings, I quite enjoy it, BUT!! I said I'd never do another.
This year so far I've agreed to do 2, one for the brother in law, who in all fairness videoed my own wedding and has helped Me out as my bag man on a few shoots, and I've enjoyed shooting the "behind the scenes" for the short films he does, so for me to shoot his wedding is only natural.
The 2nd wedding is for a friend of a friend, yeah one of them! I was saying no until they said they were having an OWL deliver the ring!!
In all fairness though all they want is one group picture, a very informal occasion.
But an OWL!! Hahaha

I think the owl business is getting a bit clichéd now, but best owl/ring/wedding video I've seen (but can't now find a link to) involved the owl sweeping along the aisle between the seated guests before flying up into the rafters and staying there (with the ring) despite bribes, threats, abuse, etc!

Hope 'your' event goes more to plan

Cheers Pal, I know what you mean about the cheesy clichéd aspect of it. Still, it should be a laugh
I've also got to shoot the Pendle Faery events this year, they're always a laugh. Typical isn't it, I give up trying to make a living with the camera and go back to a 9to5 and the work just piles up!

I've done weddings and have also said that I will not do another, that is until I get talked into another no doubt

I think the 'owl' thing will be great as long as people there either have not seen it done before or remain dignified about it and make no negative comments

If you enjoy wedding photography your more of a mentalist than I thought
