You will have to excuse me if this seems to be a very stupid question but i just can't get my head around this.
When focusing to get optimim sharpness do you use Hyperfocal Focusing, if so how? I have this image in my head that when taking say a landscape pic to focus one third into the image i would have to tilt downwards or would i use another AF point.

One third of the way in is right, using a small aperture such as f11, f16 or sometimes even f22.

Focus using centre point only on the appropriate point, hold the shutter release half pressed to lock the focus and recompose to suit before fully pressing the shutter release.
Best regards, John
