No idea about the printer but if it's a back up wouldn't you want it to use the same inks etc. as the main printer?

If it works it works...is my motto......and if means saving £199 then even better...

As I've never used HP before...I would like to grab any help and insight to a printer I have been offered.
Its the 1700 A3 printer...for £100.
I never seen any results from this machine, so can I ask,...if anyone has used one, or has seen the Quality of an image printed using the 1700,...I would be grateful in hearing you opinion.
I understand that the ink cartridges are good value as they are high capacity....
I use a Epson 1400 at the moment...stillalmost new,..and was thinking of getting the HP as a back up.
