Lets all chip in and buy it! In the present economic climate, we could probably get it for peanuts. Yes - A great opportunity, here! We could let the Japanese continue making the lenses and move body production to Britain. It could be the start of restoring our once great manufacturing industry. Maybe we could do what Cosina did and resurrect a respected name from the past... Yes! - Just think of it - The Thornton-Pickard full frame D1. SLR. I'd put in a few quid!

Both companies have issued statements, but somebody got this info somewhere. And companies trying to sell divisions have a history of keeping everything hush-hush until all the wrinkles have been ironed out. So, I wouldn't be surprised to hear some news about that later on.:

Samsung already said that they want to do something else in the DSLR range then Pentax so that's why it was already very unlikely that the news is true.
Samsung will bring out the NX next month I believe, no news if you they will have a K-mount adapter.
