How long has the PU mag been running?
I am sure i have read copies dating way back to my days with a "Spotty"?
Or is it my Altzimers kicking in

I joined sometime in the 70's and the magazine came out then but with a slightly different name iirc.
Pentax K1-ii and MZ6
Pentax Lenses 28-80 F, 300 DA*, 80-200 F, 35 F2.4 AL, M50 F1.7, 28-105 DFA, 20 F4 SMC

I think it was called Pentax Club originally and it originated in the 1970s. I'm not sure that there wasn't a previous club to that as well, but I'm not old enough to know about it...

I was a memeber of the old Pentax Club in the mid to late 1980s and had one or two pictures published in the magazine. It was edited by Peter Cox.
There was a regular contributor in those days called Peter Elgar. I recall that name from somehwere!!!

I was a member in the early 80s.

I even have a couple of "Pentax Club" jumpers. Maybe I should advertise them in the Classified Ad section.

I was a member in the seventies and I think AP contributor Ron Spillman might have been editor, Peter Elgar will know!

They had club nights around the country with slide competitions and modest prizes of Pentax stuff. There was always quite an impressive turnout at the Glasgow one at least.
