how do you post photos?

sorry if this is a FAQ, maybe could do with a sticky?
it looks like yo have to link to a website? if so how do you just get the ppic and not whole page (eg ephotozine or photo.net)?

I use Photobucket to store online images, from there it is simply a case of copying the URL into the message body.

Remember to size the original image appropriately so that it can be viewed easily on most monitors

Not all phot websites allow hotlinking. You should check that your chosen site allows this. As I use Opera I can't give you the instructions for getting the photo's URL (in Opera you right click on the photo and copy image address - no idea if it is the same in IE), but once you have that you click on the img tab above then paste the URL and click on the img tab again. Preview your message to check it has worked.

Generally if you right click the image and go to Properties you will find the URL. Copy this and then paste it between the Img tags in the forum message box.
