How do you post glass picture frames?

There are some specialist packing sellers that sell double walled card board envelopes/boxes for this purpose.
I also would use a courier service rather then Snail Mail or Parcel Farce as they look better after items that are marked 'FRAGILE' plus it is much easier to put in a claim if an item has been damaged, in particular if the damage is visible outside and has been noted by the addressee and the driver.
May cost a pound more but it is safer, faster and you got automatic insurance.

Our mail man is sooo lazy he'd be pissed if I didn't pre-break the glass for him.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Royal Mail insurance doesn't cover glass. Check that your courier does!

TNT does as they had to replaced it once in over a 100 deliveries.

the odd time I post a picture frame with glass (size 30 by 40cm).
My local post office doesn't have any suitable padded envelopes or similar.
Just wondering where you get suitable packaging or do you bubble wrap and make your own packaging?
Cheers,
Pa.
