easy go in to the main menu its on the first page about 3 or 4 down file format, change to jpeg.

It does not say Jpeg it is stars, you want 3 stars for best Jpeg

Ok thanks for the replys so far.
I have found the book.
In record mode Quality level is 'RAW.
I cant find the bit that 'scott' mentioned. its driving me bonkers

You wont find what Scott said Jpeg.....Its symble is 3 stars, 3 stars =Jpeg Best,

I am the very proud owner of a Pentax K100 D super.
It has decided to put my pics in to RAW mode.( no good to me, cant do anything with it)
So the question is how do i change it back to jpeg? I have put the instruction book 'some where safe'.
