Hosta Flowers.

These Hosta flowers only lasted a day like this, I was so pleased I photographed them when I did. K3 II and Sigma 70mm macro lens.

I really like the contrasting blue background, like everyone else by the time i thought about it the flowers had gone over.

The beautiful, subtle colours of the flowers really contrast beautifully against the predominantly blue background - another simple but effective image

I like the colour of the flowers against the backdrop. Almost like opposite colours of the colour wheel to make it work well
