Terrible downpours here in Yorkshire, the little stream nearby is normally 50cm deep and 3-4m wide. It got to 2m deep and about 15m wide (mostly because of the bridge near here which is flowed over).
Can't go out and shoot in that sort of weather without a couple of DA* lenses. Then I wouldn't care too much about it but would still avoid areas prone to flooding.
