Hopefully not a silly question....

IIRC pentax call it trailing curtain sync and I'm pretty sure it was a setting on the K10D in the flash menu.
Cheers

Thanks, I can only see a "Slow Sync" option, unless I've not got it in the right mode, or using the right flash.
I have a grey out option which shows what looks like a fast forward double arrow and a flash. But I can't get that to come "live"

I was playing with my K10d and I used the slow sync flash mode.
I had it set to 1 second exposure so I could see how things work, and noticed the flash fires when the shutter first opens.
Is it possible to have the flash fire immediately before the shutter closes instead? ( I'm sure I've read this about other cameras ).
What I've got in mind is a panning shot, but with the subject frozen at the end of the pan.
