Hi Annie, another Yorkshire member (born in Conisbrough, nr. Doncaster, now live in Killamarsh nr. Sheffield which is actually just over the border in NE Derbyshire). We have quite an active little group in and around Sheffield and you are welcome to join us when we have a day out - will let you know if anything gets arranged.

Regards

Welcome there is quite a large yorkshire contingent here.

Keep a look out in the local meets section as there are often Pentax meets in the area with people coming down from Tyneside, Durham and even Scotland. They are good fun and a way of sharing knowledge and trying other peoples kit!

And no its not just old man, partners come along as well.

Hope to see you some time

Dave

The Whitby Goths Festival is on later this month and several of us will be there. I'm planning to go on the Saturday, April 28 and I know Barrie is going for the weekend with his family. Alan (Fatspider) and Gareth (Greynolds) are among the regulars too. Its good to meet some other Pentax Forum members as well as taking photos of the Goths.

Thanks for all the nice welcomes guys, I'm loving it here, enjoying the gallery and reading the forum. The only downside being reading about lots of kit cos my wish list has tripled lol
Nearly bought a second hand Pentax Optio I-10 but stopped myself although I'm still tempted.
