Well, here's anothe Ozzie member.

I registered yesterday and tried to introduce myself (twice) and respond to another thread (once). I don't know what happened, but there's no trace of my posts: at least I can't find them

well, I have several "film" cameras icluding Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F, Asahi Pentax S1, SV, KX and MZ50.

I am currently considering an MX.

Does anyone know anything about the MX and what do you think of them? Is the metering display in the viewfinder easy to read (in strong sun)? And are there any potential problems I should look out for when choosing one?

(I hope this post makes it)

Thanks

Hello again Banjo, no the meter isn't easy to read in strong sunlight - probably the only failing I can think of with the MX. Not such a big deal here in the UK where some folks regard "strong sunlight" as little more than an urban myth...
