Hi everyone

Id just like to introduce myself. Im keyi (Ian) I dont know anything about cameras but I have just bought a K30 with the 18-55WR lens, the main reason I have bought the camera is my forth coming wedding, I will be getting married in greece this June and we will be staying for 4 weeks so i decided that I wanted a good camera to take plenty of pics. after owning plenty of point and shoot cameras i decided that i needed a new one and thought to myself that the point and shoot cameras are not what i want anymore

Like I said im new to the DSLR camera world so when I ask questions Ill prob not understand most of the answers given so ill apologise in advance lol

While looking around for info on how to use a DSLR i found a canon website with some very good info with pics too, I was just wondering if anyone knows of pentax sites that are similar?

Welcome, we all learn from one another just ask[I have!]
Many members own the K-30 and are very happy with it.

I would advise, practise and post photos.Accept advice and check the forum before you ask ,if there is nothing posted,then ask the question.

Check out others photos[many great shots, some great wedding photographers too]

Good luck with the K30. I am sure you will be very pleased with it.

I have a K10 and a K5, with a number of lens, but use a point and shoot most of the time, much less hassle.

just like to clear up that i wont be doing the photos for my own wedding there will be a professional photographer there for that lol
