And I thought it was quite amusing but I will second Terrys advice, the AF360FGZ is a good addition and is available at a reasonable price compared to the newer 540. Using an external flash will also help avoid problems with vignetting that you can get with onboard flash.

Again thanks for the advice.
Impotentspider, i thought it amusing as well .
I will follow your's and terrys advice and have a look into the flashguns.
See what you mean about the dwindling bank balance, do they do a vaccine against this LBA, i can't afford any more dwindling.
p.s. impotentspider, all the best on your imminent arrival

There is no known cure for LBA although preventitive surgery such as 'credit card removal under anaesthetic' apparently can help

First, a merry Christmas to you too. It's a wonderful time with lots of opportunities to catch your children/grandchildren in happy moments.
Re. your money, I would advice to get a good external flash for your K100D. Preferably the Pentax AF360FGZ or the AF540FGZ. The built-in flash is really for emergencies only.
Your K100D is a good camera. Bear in mind it comes with the same lens as the K10D. And the 6.1 Megapixels will give you prints up to A4 size. How often do you need a bigger one?
