Heron wide open on A*300 + 2x-s

Having done my good deed for the day and brought back one of the nice old Pentax lenses from the states I managed to get out at lunch with it and caught this. It's had a lot of cleaning up to remove distracting background and I'm not good at gimp or cloning so there's probably loads of artifacts if you pixel peep. Still, first day out, with a new lens, 600mm wide open at f4, cropped a bit, manual focus hand held at a BIF (which I'm also not good at) so I'm pleased. The lens can do a lot better than this of course.
