i think the real difference between the art of photography and photograpic art is :-
the art of photography is getting THAT shot under natrual conditions where as photographic art is more studio orientated when you are in control of the light excetera
this is purley my personnal opinion

have been away for a few days and am catching up on recent posts. I just wanted to comment that trying to view these photos as thumbnails is a very unsatisfactory way of trying to make an opinion of them. I took a moment to click on a few to see what they were like a bit bigger - has anyone else done this? I have to say that the bigger image, on it's own, is better although like others I wouldn't choose to have them hanging on my wall. In some ways I'd be interested to see them printed up and hanging in on a wall, properly mounted and properly lit and in some sort of order rather than jumbled up as thumbnails on a webpage. just a thought . . .
