Hello all, i have just been asked to do a wedding in a month and i dont have a wide!

So need one obviously, reckon i can get a bit of money together but wondered if anyone was selling one? Or had any bright ideas of what i could get with a couple/maybe three hundred quid?

would like it to cope with fairly low light though i have a K-5 which is pretty good in bad light, probably would want it to stop down to 2.8

any suggestions? fankoo

+1, no point in buying a lens for just one occasion.

.....unless you can get a used one at the right price and resell without loss
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

I just used my beloved 17-50mm at f2.8 / 800 iso and can see noise and most pictures arent sharp. I've always loved this lens, it's only the second time i use it indoor. It seems the lens struggles to focus in low light condition. Anyway it really depends what you're going to use it for and how wide you need to go. I think Mike has the 14mm for sale, but he'd rather you rent instead

edit: just realising this is a classified thread so my comment might get deleted!
