HELP I've lost my SR

Have you adjusted the drive mode at all? I notice that whenever I switch to shooting with a remote control, the shake reduction is disabled (presumably on the premise that the camera will be attached to a tripod...) - similarly when the camera is in self-timer mode, the SR is disabled (presumably for the same reason). Not sure if that helps - am sure others will understand the K-7 menus better than I do (yet)...

Hi Vic
Like Mat mentioned, if the K7 is anything similar to the K20D then most probably you have the camera set up for self timer or remote shooting.
I would check that first

Thanks Mat. I had just been playing with the Drive Mode and had left it on Mirror Up. My short term memory is shot. I think there must be more computing power in this camera than they had when they went to the moon. Once again thanks. CHEERS Vic.

Indeed but the electronics was highly specialize and only could do one thing and that's it so you don't need a lot of power if it's highly optimized.Amazing what was achieved with so little isn't it?

PPS I just checked and SR is still on the Green Mode.
