in Europe

Got this this morning from Photomonk.

He's been working on a project for some time now and is ready to organising printing.

Now he does use commercial printers in the USA so is used to sizes / details for them .

This time the printing is to be done by a lab in France [ Paris ] .

This is what I received this morning

Quote:
I need a list or chart that gives the common print sizes of photos in the rest of the world compared to the US inch system. Any chance you could work one up or find one? This is for the Bussy project and I will be using a lab in Paris for the prints. But I have to know in advance how to prepare the print files.
Guys - can you give some help please ?

Does the lab in Paris not publish its requirements? All the labs I use have a list on their websites showing the required parameters for optimum results.
Best regards, John

Is this of any use?
Though as John says the French printers should provide all the info he needs re their requirements.

I think Proam's list of avaiable print sizes is pretty complet, cover both imperial and metric sizes.

Cheers
Brian.
LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

Relaying thanks to you Gwyn - he's bookmarked the Site .

Seems the Labs he's looked at only give the metric measurements - not a nice convenient Chart relating one to the other
