Hello and welcome to the forum.
On Pentax Digital cameras with APS-C sensors it will perform like a 42-135 on a film camera. In other words you multiply the focal length by 1.5, it's commonly called a crop factor.

Hello and Welcome

As Barrie mentions above there is a 1.5 crop factor - good for wildlife not os great for landscapes.

No it won't alter in size, it's still a 28-90mm lens no matter what camera you use it on.

What will happen is that you will get a different field of view if using it on a crop DSLR rather than full frame because of the smaller sensor size.
