Help ! What is this mark on my photos ?

Hello Can someone tell me what is causing this mark on my photos please ? Here is an example - just above the climbers head... Its really annoying as its not on every photo - I also keep getting little round dots on photos :( My KX is only a month or so old and I am getting really fed up with it tbh - not only do I keep getting marks on the photos but the focus doesn't seem that sharp and the colours aren't great. Do I need to tweak the settings within the camera ? thanks

That doesn't always work.

Simply make a photo an over exposed photo at the widest aperture, everything you see on the photo pure black is dirt on the sensor, or actually dirt on the protection glass/filter of the sensor.
