Help!! RAW not working!

Hi there guys, i just got back from my first trip out with my new K20... And i cant upload the pictures! i can look at them in Lightroom but they dont appear in Bridge and wont load into Camera RAW either!! am gutted can anyone tell me why this might be??

Hi Feeb, just a hunch (because I don't use Adobe that often) but could it be that you have your camera to output RAW as PEF rather than DNG? Others more familiar with Adobe will no doubt be better versed to make suggestions

What kind of photoshop do you have, you need atleast CS2 I believe to let iit work with the K20D.
It's because the restriction of adobe camera raw, the newest ones won't be able to work with the older photoshops. adode camera 5 for example only works with CS4.

since it works in lightroom you can let lightroom convert it into TIFF or PSD so that any photoshop can open it.

Let's start from the top.

Computer Vista or XP or Mac?

PEF's or DNG files.?

Loading from Card Reader or loading from Camera?

CS3 and what camera raw version are you using?

At the weekend I downloaded my pictures to my computer from the camera, for some reason some of the RAW files were not recognised and were not saved, I was using the Pentax software. So I used my card reader instead and every file was saved.
