Hello from Surrey

It has taken a bit of time to join this forum although I have been a member of the other one for some years. My first Pentax was a P50 in the 80's which I sold when autofocus was introduced. Since then I have had a variety of cameras both film and digital and my first foray into that was with a 3MP Pentax Optio which cost an arm and a leg back in 2001. In retirement I thought I would take photography more seriously and invested in a Ricoh GX100 but soon found that I needed a DSLR to compete at Camera Club level. My first DSLR was a much loved K200D which I then traded for a K7 which was not so loved. I am back on track with a K5 and am currently very taken with the Ltd series of lenses I have the 21mm, 35 and 70 and am trying to resist trading in my Sigma 10-20 against a 15mm Ltd. I love the small form factor and the handling as well as the IQ of these lenses, but I intend to retain my sigma 17-70 and pentax 55-300. I also have the two WR kit lenses.

I would not trade my Sigma 10-20 for anything - by far my most used lens.
