Looking forward to it
I had an olympus OM30.
I wanted to learn photography on it but film and development just made it difficult for me.
I've got the box for it so I may take it down to my local camera exchange and Part Ex. it for something.

Hi Bluemerlin and welcome to Pentax and to this forum. I am also in sunny Wiltshire! and also had Olympus; the OM20N.

I joined yesterday, also from not so sunny Wiltshire. Long time Pentax fan. Prog.A, much used, and all the bits. Now re-equipped with K10, battery grip, AF360 FGZ and Manfrotto 190XB tripod. Managed to get a second hand adaptor ring, 52mm, for my old set of Cokin A filters.
All very odd! I also have an Oly, OM-2n, but do not know what to do with it! My Photography began at aged 12 with an Ensign Full-Vue and graduated to The Dresden Hand Grenade.
Not very happy with the factory settings on the K10, currently experimenting with 'tweeks'. Any ideas?

Put everything on the middle setting, and then make corrections on the computer. Never think that a picture straight from the camera is the finished article. It's just the beginning.Not very happy with the factory settings on the K10, currently experimenting with 'tweeks'. Any ideas?

Thanks to the pictures on here that helped me make my decision, review sites seem to think that if it's not a C or N it's no good.
I'll start to post some more once I have some questions.
