Hello from Shipley, West Yorks.

Hi, I joined PentaxForums ast month but have only just discovered this UK Forum (thanks to a member, Hardgravity, who I met in a cemetery).

I'm still very much finding my way with digital photograhy. I had a manual SLR years ago, but had forgotten everything I knew about SLR photography anyway!

I've now got a K-r which I've had for over a year. I did use it intermittently last year but have only recently begun to really get to grips with it. I joined 365 project a couple of months ago and this has motivated me to use my camera(s) regularly. I do a lot of cycling so often use a compact or my iphone for convenience - much easier to transport! However, I have been using the DSLR a lot too and am slowly getting to know it, using Av (I had been using manual quite a bit - very fiddly) and changing the default settings. I'm now at the stage of looking at getting another zoom lens: I've got the standard 18-55 mm but am looking for an 18-250 mm for day-to-day use. Who knows where that will lead me!
