Hello everybody

I am a Nikon owner interested to move to the Pentax system and found this to be a great place to read up on Pentax stuff.

Hi

Welcome to the forum. I'll be bringing my Pentax out to India in November so that will be at least two there if you get one!

Hello and welcome, I think India must be my number one dream photographic destination.

Can I ask why you are thinking of switching?

Thanks all

I started out with the Nikon D40 a few years back, and have no complaints on its performance. I am now feeling the pinch of adding lenses and Pentax seems really attractive . I always wanted the K10D / 20D but could not afford it new, hopefully will be able to get my hands on a good used specimen soon

Doing a tour. Delhi, Agra, Jaipur then tiger hunting in Ranthambore.

All very organised so won't really have much free time.

Sounds great - we are sticking to the coastal areas this time - Mumbai, Goa, Cochin etc. Yours sounds better - though we are going to Myanmar (Burma) after which could be an experience.

If you have time while at Agra, try to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is close, and wonderful.
