Hello from Essex

Hello ladies and gents, I've been lurking for some time so thought I should take the plunge and sign up.

My name's Jerry, I live in Colchester and spend most of my spare time out and about searching for 'The Shot'. I'm sure most of us know that feeling?

I started in digital early last year with a K-50 and a couple of kit lenses. I was soon drawn into nature and wildlife photography, particularly birds, and especially raptors. I've added a few lenses to my kit, a da*300 and 1.4x t/c and a Sigma 150 - 500 are my go to lenses when out in the field. Hopefully I'll be switching to a K-3 in the next few weeks too.
Look forward to chatting to folk on here and hopefully learning a bit from the more experienced.

Cheers,

Jerry

Welcome Jerry,
Welcome to the forum.
I also started last year with a K-50
K3 has been a hard step up for me, still working at it.
I found the KS-2 to be more friendly and use this more than the K3 now.
Either should provide you with years of happiness...
Cheers,

Bruce

Hi Jerry, welcome! Look forward to seeing some shots of the Rough Legged Buzzard then! I'm in South Essex and my gallery has mostly birds taken in Essex , most recently with the K3 and 1.4x TC.
