Hey, I'm Andrew, from Ayr in Scotland. I'm 22. Decided to join the forum after reading it often for advice.

Basically I'm new to the world of DSLR's.. I had been intrigued for a while and often considered buying a *cough* Nikon D3100... However, one day I met this Polish girl who I quite.. Umm.. fancied, who swore by Pentax, and so I took a jump and bought a K-r. So glad I did as it's a great camera, especially for the price I got it for. I am considering upgrading to a K-5 now though, as I think its just that bit more suited to my sports/low-light needs.

But yeah, hi.

Yeah I was gonna get it with the 18-135 also. Nah, it's me at Grangemouth stadium. I do my training at Dam Park though.

Lol. I didn't take the one in my avatar. I mean I'm talented but that's pushing it. Tend to photograph my team-mates.

Hello and Welcome Andrew

I like your decision making process meet a fanciable girl buy a Pentax - that's gotta win some kind of award ifonly life was laways that simple and enjoyable

Beware, she may also like DA* lenses - that could turn out expensive
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Pentax cameras and Polish girls. Both masterpieces in their own way.
