Hello and welcome to the forum.
A number of people have had problems focusing with various lens/body combinations.
Have a try doing a "Forum Search" which is in "Forum" drop down menu. You may find something of interest

Bforbes would it be possible for you to point me in the right direction please I have been looking all day but as of yet can't find a post that discusses the problem of soft focus on the k5.
I'm I right the k20 you could set the camera up and save each setting for each lens you had to fine adjust??
I did find a post buy mikep on his limited lens and he adjusted that for soft focus.

My main interest in photography is wildlife and flowers so quite a lot of difference in lens needed for my photography.
I live in the midlands not far from M6 & M1
I have owned a K10 in to past but sold this as it had a lot of focusing problems with different lens.I then moved on to a K20 which I found all my focusing problems had resolved within the camera much better than the K10. I have now bought a k5 and must admit the focusing problems have returned or is it just me. I've owed the K5 for a while now and convinced it is soft focusing
