Hello, hello!

Hi - have just joined!

Am looking at a red K-r as my first DSLR. Seems to have more features that the equivalent Canon or Nikon. I've used a compact for years, and love the portability, so am a bit intimidated with all the new settings, lenses and so on!

Lots to learn!

i was going for pentax just for the look...
then found out pentax is really good. so confirmed mind.
but my husband insisted to buy a balck one and only if balck he will give me a loan. lol
